Module 7.3 Project Work

Module 7.3 Project Work

Q Evaluate Last week you submitted a draft of your final multimedia presentation and received peer feedback. This assignment gives you an opportunity to receive additional feedback from your instructor on your revised draft prior to your final submission in Module 8 (by Thursday). Your instructor will assess your draft as they would your final project and you will receive feedback as well as a percentage grade. See notes regarding evaluation below as your draft (like your Lit Review draft) will be scored slightly differently than your final submission. Step 1: Review your peer feedback from Module 6 • And make changes as you see fit. If you're are making very few changes, you will need to justify this in Step 2. o This might also be a good time to review the multimedia presentation requirements outlined in Module 6, as well as the multimedia presentation evaluation rubric (see bottom of page). Step 2: Attach a Word document regarding feedback addressed and sought In a single page, indicate what peer feedback you've addressed and any specific questions or concerns you want to ask your instructor. • This might relate to changes you've made or feedback you disagree with and want another opinion about. Step 3: Attach your revised presentation draft and submit assignment • By Thursday, 11:59 pm ET to allow sufficient time for your instructor to provide feedback. Evaluation The LAPSY 498 Multimedia Presentation Draft for Instructor Submission explains how your efforts in this assignment will be evaluated. • Note that a similar grading approach to the Literature Review Draft is being employed where "proficient" achievement will be sufficient to earn you full points on this draft. However, improvements will need to be made to reach "exemplary" achievement and full points on your final submission. Project work assignments are worth 50% of your final grade. Step 2: Attach a Word document regarding feedback addressed and sought I have received positive feedback from all my team members, and I cannot thank them enough for appreciating my work. They all rated my work exemplary in all domains, due to which I am unable to make extra or bigger changes. The only suggestion that three team members gave was to add a video to increase the effectiveness of my presentation and the social justice issue that I have raised. That is why I have added a video on slide 10, “Centre on Dynamics of Ethnicity: The Effects of Racism At Work.” This video is impactful as it compiles the emotions and experiences of victims who have faced racism at their workplaces (The University of Manchester, 2017).
